Non Judgemental Ear

For listeners

Be the person someone needed today.

You don't need a degree. You need patience, warmth and the ability to sit with someone without trying to fix them. We'll train you for the rest.

Questions you might have.

Do I need to be a counsellor?

No. Listeners are peers, not professionals, and you must not give medical or legal advice. Your job is to listen.

What if someone is in crisis?

Your training covers what to do, and every conversation has safety options and helplines close at hand.

Will people see my full name?

No. Seekers see your first name only. Your full name is used privately for the identity check.

Will I see my ratings?

You see the thanks and "felt heard" moments people leave for you. Low ratings aren't shown to you.

Who can apply?

You must be 18 or older, finish the training and pass the identity check.
